Love and joy in June at Evergreen Gardens

Did I drive over 5 hours to photograph this wedding? Absolutely. I would I do it again? Hands down, YES!
I met Ariel years ago in my early years of my career when I was waiting tables on the side to pay the bills. All of those years later, when planning the day of her dreams, I was the one she wanted to capture it. It is such an overwhelming honor to sought out by couples and these two were no exception. Their day was filled with so much joy and thoughtfulness. There were so many details throughout the day to bring the presence of those who could not be there. You could feel how much these two were loved and deeply important they were to those in their lives.
The cherry on top was the BEAUTIFUL wedding venue they chose, Evergreen Gardens. A beautifully curated space, tucked away in the trees and full of warm wood tones, it feels like a warm hug.
The most memorable moment me is the cake cutting. This couple wanted family involved in all aspects of the day. This included the cake “cutting”. Instead of cutting the cake, they invited the littlest guests to come up and share a bite of the cake with them. That is a moment worth remembering.
